This lush secret garden contains a wooden trellis and a quiet cobbled pedestrian street lined with Edwardian cottages and flowering plants and trees. One almost feels like you're in a jungle of verdant flora that defies the reality of being in the middle of a major urban setting. A flight of steep wooden stairs at the end of the lane leads to Taylor Street. Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City takes place here in some of the scenes.
